Korean Ramen and Ho Cakes at The Chelsea Market - Mokbar

A "quirky little Korean gem", located at Chelsea Market, Mokbar is the brain child of chef and owner Esther Choi. Born in New Jersey, and grew up cooking traditional Korean cuisine with her grandmother.

During lunch it's a take-away only ramen bar, but at dinner time, Mokbar transforms in to a 20 seat bar-restaurant - serving al-denté Korean ramen, and delectable ho cakes - pork belly inside a crispy pancake. There are a ton of vegan options, including vegan ramen, which is a rarity in a realm dominated by slow-cooked tenderous proteins. It's a little piece of ramen and ho cake heaven!|

For Whom?

Not ideal for large groups, but great for dates, lunch meetings, grab-and-go.
