Whiteface Mountain

Whiteface Mountain boasts the highest vertical drop in the East at 3,430 feet and is ranked as the top ski resort in the Eastern US. Whiteface features 86 trails, 283 acres of terrain and off-piste double-black diamond wilderness terrain (The Slides). This is where the world's best come to train and compete and where kids come to learn and have fun. Whiteface is located just outside the village of Lake Placid, one of the best ski towns in the East.

Gore Mountain

Gore Mountain is a family-oriented ski resort nestled in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. Ski over nine sides of the four peaks - Gore, Bear, Burnt Ridge and Little Gore Mountains. The resort features 2537’ of vertical and the most terrain in New York State with 94 trails, Gore Mountain is a popular winter destination for skiers and riders. One of three state-owned ski areas operated by ORDA, Gore added more glades, 130 new tower guns and base lodge upgrades for 2011-2012. Five terrain parks offer a variety of shredding opportunities. The snowmaking system supplied by the Hudson River delivers a long season of quality snow. Off-hill, there are a variety of attractions including cross country skiing, spas, and outdoor centers.

Hunter Mountain

Hunter Mountain Ski Area is located in the northern Catskill mountains about 2 hours north of New York City. The resort is comprised of three separate mountains. There are two terrain parks and Hunter holds freestyle events throughout the ski season. Other activities at the mountain include snowshoeing and snow tubing.

Windham Mountain

Ski Windham offers a real mountain adventure with 34 slopes and trails spanning two mountain peaks. There's literally something for everyone: a separate learning terrain for beginners, groomed cruising runs for all levels, and moguls and steeps for experts. Alternative terrain includes snow parks, glade skiing and snow tubing.
