If one have ever seen the night market scene in southeast Asia, then you'll know that the competition for street food offering is arguably the main attraction. Parsar Malam, which translates to "night market" in Malaysian, offers authentic Malaysian cuisine to the Williamsburg neighborhood.

Opened by Salil Mehta (owner of Union Square's Michelin-approved Laut), this restaurant boasts that the authenticity is at the tip of your tongue, with deep flavorful dishes such as Baba Fish Head Curry (served with okra, jalapeno, and coconut milk curry), Char Kway Teow (with flat noodles, chives, bean sprouts and chili sauce), and various types of Roti - some with American twists, like the Roti Elvis that comes with bananas and peanut butter.

Open daily from 3pm until midnight, most entrees are priced well under $20 with a $11 average. This is family friendly, but geared towards those with adventurous palates.
