Cherry Blossom in Brooklyn

Keep watch to see when the blossoms will appear at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden with the CherryWatch Blossom Status Map. The BBG has a long and varied history and the "Kanzan" cherry trees were first planted in 1941 on the Esplanade as a gift from the Auxiliary. Over the years the garden has continued to grow and expand and the blossom watch is another way to make the gardens interactive and help visitors stay informed.
