Free Summer Movies is a presentation of the New York City Parks & Recreation and the program features just what you might expect - Free Movies!

Intended for locals - but is suited for anyone with time to spare and an inclination to enjoy free films in great outdoor settings - and as the title suggests, these are free.

So bring the kids, your date and maybe a picnic blanket and snacks for a great night at the movies. Films include Indiana Jones, Goonies playing at Randalls Island Park, BIG at LIC, The Royal Tenenbaums at Williamsburg's McCarren Park Brooklyn... selections includes family friendly to "edgier" choices.
