A Classic Fifties Bar in Cobble Hill

The Long Island Bar was reopened in 2013, by Joel Tompkins and Toby Cecchini after a 50-year-run by the previous owners, which ended in the early 2000s. Even after the refashioning, this Cobble Hill maintained it's cozy nostalgia feel of the yesteryear - without the retro/hip that seems to be the trend these days. The drink menu is the brainchild of Cecchni whose famous for pioneering the Cosmopolitan at the Odeon in the 80's, are perfectly straightforward and classic. Such as the zesty house Gimlet and the fragrant 'Rip City Fizz' with Akvit . Ideal for a cocktail or a night cap, the casual cool vibe will keep you coming back.

For Whom?
Crowd is mostly in their 20s and 30s, great for dates, cocktail hours, night caps, Reservations are available for large groups only. Cocktails average $12, beers and wine average $6.
