Directed by Robert Falls and by the Goodman Theatre production, The Iceman Cometh encompass an epic 18-character drama that tells the tale of the biannual visit of traveling salesman Hickey at the Harry Hope’s saloon. On this visit his sobriety leads to both comic and heartbreaking encounters with his friends. This play broke box office records during its run in Chicago.
