Daruma Ya is the brain child of Soba master Shuichi Kotani - the man who has trained many chefs on the art of the traditional Japanese buckwheat noodle.

From hot and cold soba dishes to a full Izakaya menu, the dishes are gorgeously simple yet complex in flavor. A refreshing switch from all the rich and sometime heavy flavor character of ramen that's been popping up all over the city.

Located in the heart of Tribeca, on Laight Street, this 60-seat eatery features custom minimalist Japanese décor and traditional drinks with a twist - Daruma Ya truly casts a bright spotlight on their carefully crafted dishes.
