Boutique Irish Bar with Serious Music: The Late Late

The Late Late Bar & Spirit Grocer is a non-traditional Irish watering hole in the LES. Named after the irreverent late night talk show that clashed with the traditional values of the Irish Catholic Church, the new owners of The Late Late are hoping to create an evolving Irish experience with unique décor, design, music, food and drink selections ideally suited for people looking for both casual and more formal night-on-the-town experiences.

What sets this place apart from other Irish bars is the featured up and coming DJs pumping out the latest tunes in a carefully crafted bar environment. Florence + the Machine's guitarist, who co-owns the place puts his special touches on the music selections featured in the establishment.

Draught beers are $5-$10 depending on type and the bar also offers a wide variety of bottled beers, whiskeys and mixed drinks as well. Several specialized Guinness drinks are also available for the more adventurous drinkers. An Irish tapas menu and British grocer section round out the food options.
