On Sunday February 16th Brooklyn Bazaar will hosts Down & Derby’s annual “Couple Skate Kick Off” roller disco.
To take full advantage of the space the Down & Derby production team imported about 300 additional pairs of roller skates from their Denver team to handle the consistent flow of would be skaters.
Rok One and friends are recruited once again to keep the couple skate going and the disco jams flowing.
Things kick off at 8pm and wrap up at 1am.
It’s a party so 21+ only
Admission is $10 with RSVP. Attendees are encouraged to visit www.downandderby.org to RSVP for the reduced admission.
Skate rental is an additional $5 or guests can bring their own wheels. Roller Blades are welcome (if you plan on going home alone) but Down & Derby only rents old school quad skates.
Considering the popularity of the Bazaar its safe to say that Down & Derby will probably only be around 2 times a year (when there is a Monday Holiday) And that’s it, so don’t miss out, come get you skate fix Sunday February 16th for the “couple skate kick-off”
