Love These Versatile Knee-High Brown Boots

...recently visited my college alma mater and noticed something sort of interesting. Every girl who was wearing jeans paired them with brown boots. Seriously! Nary a black boot in sight. This, of course, led me to think about my own wardrobe.

I have one pair of black ankle boots that I've been running into the ground lately, but for the most part I fall in the brown boot category. I know some will say that it depends on what they're wearing that day, but I generally stick with brown or versions of it (cognac or even a merlot-y brown) whether I'm wearing jeans or dresses.
